This is the material we were able to gather the first day the lava hit the ocean in early March 2008 at Waikupanaha. Some really nice stuff here, when the steam and flows were dancing together. Also, some helicopter material over the fissure eruptions late in 2007… good natural sound of visitors as they view the flows.
